Life Dojo supports newcomers, students, career switchers, and local mentors. That means trust matters more than growth. These are the safety rules we use before serious launch.
Reviewed senseis
Senseis are reviewed before appearing publicly. Verification may include LinkedIn, work email, manual review, or partner referral.
Request before messaging
Students request mentorship first. Messaging opens after a sensei or admin accepts the request.
Report and block
Members can report safety concerns and block users. Reports are reviewed by admins.
No exploitation
No unpaid labor requests, no outside payments, no guaranteed job promises, and no requests for SIN/passport documents.
- Life Dojo mentorship is not legal, immigration, financial, medical, or mental-health advice.
- Senseis cannot guarantee jobs, referrals, interviews, immigration outcomes, or licensing results.
- No one should ask for unpaid labor, passport/SIN documents, money outside the platform, or romantic/sexual contact.
- Session notes are private to the person who writes them unless they intentionally share them.
- AI tools can be wrong. Review AI suggestions before using them in applications or interviews.
Dojo AI currently runs on Life Dojo’s free local rules, pathway templates, and playbooks. It does not call OpenAI, Claude, or any paid external AI API. It is a preparation tool, not a lawyer, immigration consultant, regulator, therapist, financial advisor, employer, or replacement for a mentor. Guidance may be incomplete, outdated, or too generic. Do not paste SIN numbers, passports, bank details, medical records, immigration documents, or confidential employer files. Verify important decisions with official sources or qualified professionals.
What Life Dojo is not
Life Dojo is not a law firm, immigration consultancy, emergency service, employer, recruiter, or mental-health clinic. Mentors share experience and career guidance. Users should contact qualified professionals for legal, immigration, financial, medical, licensing, or crisis support.
Privacy and session notes
Session notes should be treated as private working notes. Do not store unnecessary sensitive information. AI tools should not analyze private mentorship notes unless the user clearly chooses to share that content for feedback.
